Draft Week may be a memory, but you can still listen to our songs of yesteryear on Spotify anytime. Our most recent release, "Close to the Wind (2015)" is getting lonely in streaming heaven. Hopefully new projects are just around the bend from all of us. Have an amazing summer, friends.
Going through some old CD's of mine the other day, I came across this.
I believe it was Warped Tour of 2009 in Buffalo, NY. I was leaving for the day, and just outside of the gates this group of guys (you) stops me. "Hey, can we have a minute"? You explained to me who you were, asked if I could just listen to a song and if I liked it, maybe buy a CD. I remember vividly listening to "Disgrace". I digged it and bought this CD. Wished you luck.
Spent a couple of years trying to dig up more to see if you did anything else but couldn't really find anything. Eventually I just stopped looking, but every once in a while I'd listen to this on iTunes or play "Disgrace" for a friend and tell them a story about how "this group of guys just randomly got me to buy this CD. Isn't this good?"
So when I came across this today I wanted to look you guys up. Saw you've broken up. While that's sad, I think it's great you released more stuff and kept at it for 8 years after that random ass moment in a parking lot in Buffalo. Just wanted to give you guys that story. I live 6 hours north of Buffalo in a town of 400 on the Canadian border. I'm sure you've reached out much further than that even.
Thanks for the memory, even if it was just one. I wish you guys luck post-Draft Week. You guys have stuff up on iTunes? I'd like to acquaint myself with the rest of your material.
To all of our friends and fans and families. To those that came out to every show or just saw us one time. To everyone that let us sleep in there houses when we had nowhere else to go. Thank you so much for all the support you have given us. We've always had big dreams for this band, but getting to do what we love and share our art with you for nine years was truly worth more to us than we can ever express. We can't wait to see many of the faces that helped us get this far for our farewell show this Friday at the Metro.
